DR. LAWRENCE SHALL

I am originally from Ohio and am a proud alumnus of Ohio State University. I earned my medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. Over thirty years ago, I moved to Virginia Beach. Since I arrived in Hampton Roads, I have had the honor to work for several years as a physician for Norfolk State University and Norfolk City School schools.
Over the last 30 years, there have been significant changes in Orthopedics. However, the largest and most important reason I entered medicine has not changed - my continued desire to provide my patients with the best treatment and outcomes. Opening Shall Ortho has allowed me to get back to what I most enjoy—providing quality care, time, and specialized treatments for my patients.
As an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, my practice focuses on managing acute and chronic injuries, with a strong emphasis on the knee, shoulder, and elbow. My philosophy is to provide patients with superior quality care through compassion, honesty, and specialized treatment to fit each patient's unique needs.
